The Premier League has announced that all non-televised fixtures until the end of October will now be made available live on pay-per-view in the UK.
The 20 clubs came to the interim decision after a meeting on Friday in order to "enable all fans to continue to watch their teams live".

Here's an idea..... We pay for the entertainment level.

If your team loses....it's Free
If a draw - £5
If a win - £5 per goal. - I'd have been ok paying £30 for the United game.

Just give me a monthly subscription service for about £25 that lets me watch all the games. £15 per match is farcical. I have no idea how many Spurs games aren't televised across a year, but if I assume it's around half, I'm looking at roughly an extra £300, on top of an £80 a month Sky/BT fee, not to mention the cost of my season ticket - with all the additional costs that going to a match entails.

That's not even taking into account the other games I'll want to watch just as a general football supporter. If I want to watch the top 4/6 clashes - excluding Spurs - it'll end up costing me more than half of my season ticket. Madness.

Stupid pricing, it will just encourage streaming sites rather than get people to pay.

They should look at the music industry and how they managed to get people to subscribe to Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music et al. I mean shit I can have Amazon Prime and Netflix for a month for the cost of one match.

£25/month for your team and an extra £10/month for all matches.

It's where it is going anyway but for some reason, we have to go through this stupid charade of watching on unofficial sites and channels until they get their pricing right.

We lose because of the quality of the streams and they lose because they don't get out money. Fucking dumb

In 2018/19 season we had 26 matches televised out of 38 on Sky/BT , hard to work out how many not to be televised this season but if it was a normal season then 12 games to pay for, another reason to compete near the top, more of the top 6 clubs shown on Sky/BT than those further down the table, also add in Amazon who I think have some games in December.

Presumably also still need Sky/BT in order to view on PPV seeing as it's through their Box Office channels.
I don't have Sky or BT, don't even have Freesat/Freeview, therefore in order to watch a PPV match on my TV I would have to get one of their boxes as a minimum.

And they wonder why people stream stuff for free....................
£5 a game and they would make a killing, at £15 i will put up with a bit of buffering and foreign commentary

Need some sort of package to make this worth it. £15 is a bit steep.

Might invite 7 mates around, just under £2 each then:sneaky:;)

Jokes on me, not got that many friends

And if VAR ruins the game then you get double your money back!

Feck Sky. Offer less and less, but continue to hike their prices.

So wish there was more competition for these blaggers, this is the problem, they've got the market pretty well sewn up here in England.

With so little alternative choice, it really is pay up or miss out, and that's before we even consider the £15 pay per view nugget of feckyoulot-tosspottery.
