I’d prefer Arsenal to take points off City for us to remain top. But I would also accept an absolute humiliation if City were to win…

Draw > City win > Arsenal win

If I'm being really honest I think both teams will finish above us, but we've definitely got more chance of keeping pace with Arsenal.

Gotta be a draw in the Arse/City match.

Brighton seem to be either great or awful...hoping the great Brighton turn up today.

Draw or City win is good

We just don't want Arsenal winning this. Would be huge psychologically for them.

I'd prefer Arsenal getting battered over a draw but both are good.

That's madness, I don't care what month it is, I want us top.
You're focusing on them more than us.

Nope. I’m focusing on the long game. City are going to win the league, they’re easily the best team. Arsenal losing is good for us. One defeat can easily lead to two and a loss of form.

Rodri has been arguably their best player so far, hope they manage it without him, they certainly have other great options.

Got to be cheering on a man city win today. Anything to sew some early doubts into the arsenal heads.

It would be nice to stay top for a couple of weeks but I don’t want Arsenal to win just so we can remain top for the time-being.

Anyway, if Arsenal win they’ll be on the same points and GD as us or a better GD if they win by two or more. So they could go top anyway.

I would take a draw but won’t be particularly disappointed if Man C win either.

I still think it’s too early to judge Burnley.

They’ve had a very tough start fixture wise (City, Spurs, Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa) and can see them picking up points as long as they stay calm and don’t go sacking Kompany.

Burnley have a lot of fans because of the way they play and Kompany is a nice guy but the Burnley performance against Spurs was nearly as bad as I've seen. Now I've not watched too many of their games and they might beat the teams around them but they need to be much better.

Although there's every chance you won't need to be all that to stay up. Apart from the three promoted teams there are several others who look like they'll be well short of 40 points this season.

I think Bournemouth's disaster start has gone a bit under the radar. Sacked O'Neill for a fancy Spaniard, who admittedly did great things with Vallecano, and it's going terribly so far. No wins in 8 and just lost convincingly to Everton. They look every bit as bad as the promoted sides at the moment.

Poor fixturing - lots of juicy games today being played at the same time.

Draws, injuries and red cards all round please.

West Ham Newcastle will be interesting. Have been impressed with West Ham so far - big test for them today.

Was expecting much better from them to be honest.

Wasnt expecting them to do a Brighton but thought they may be midtable.

If they spend the seaosn battling relegation whilst O'Neil has Wolves comfortably midtable then they are going to look incredibly stupid.

Just seen how much they spent too.

Oof!

Yeah, if they dont start to pick up soon then it should go down as a catastrophe as there is no way they should be battling out with Sheffield United.

Especially as they have had this big 'change of direction' and investment.

Having said that, thinking Kluivert and Aarons would be great buys was naive.

They have both proven to be very overrrated.

That was a classic Davinson Sanchez move by Adingra (?).
