That is absolutely pathetic from Podence - VAR should be able to book players if an obvious attempt to con the referee is picked up.

Not sure I’d swap their starting back four with ours and I think that says it all!

Laporte and Ake would be serious upgrades on our CBs.
Walker and Doherty scratch and I looking forwards to seeing how Reg gets on.

Jimenez is a monster. Think he could easily start for City right now.

It's the crazy eyebrows

A man of constant worry.

Jesus during match: "Hmmm. Did I forget to lock up the house before I left today???? Think man, think!":
iu

Jesus 2mins later: "Damn I forgot to call me mum on mother's day. She is gonna be pissed, need to signal her!":
iu

Jesus having difficulty concentrating on Pep's instructions: "Shit, where did I park my car again???"

Imagine Garth Crooks not putting Kane in his team of the week. I mean, it's actually pretty easy to imagine because he's a muppet but still...

Season on the brink along with our Orient news imo. Moyes and a starting CB for WHU tested positive for COVID. Ah well, we all knew it was coming..

I'm not sure it is. I think it was a given that these things were going to happen. I think there's too much on the line for the PL, for the clubs, and for the UK in general to have football disappear. The players and coaches are under the strictest protocols to ensure maximum testing and safety (such as it is). Aside from shutting down the whole country again, I don't see that any measures could be more helpful.

If we get multiple clubs having to postpone games, things are going to get very messy fixture wise. The league cup should have been cancelled this year imo to make room in the schedule for unexpected circumstances.

Other teams in other countries have had COVID outbreaks yet leagues were not halted.

The PL will absolutely demand that we continue and if you take away football from the public now a lot of people will turn on the government.

It won't happen
