Liverfool has very strong resilience to stay in the lead despite whatever pressure.

Or are they lucky?

Batshit and Mount both should have scored.

They were - and are - very lucky. At least in this game. Second goal came fro a rubbish Oliver foul too.

After our shit of a result, the weekend could've been worse with both Utd and Chavs losing...they're our rivals this year.

As much as I want the other teams to fail also I think it's one of those times where we just have to look at ourselves. If we sort ourselves out and play as we know we can I think we'll be fine, question is whether we can do so. The other teams we're competing with will be saying the same as we're all capable of dropping silly points.

I think Poch needs to make some changes to what's he's been doing so far and if he keeps overlooking them I fear for us a little. One of those being for whatever reason we look way too open and we need to plug up that space between our midfield and defence. I really think if we start to see that and have that solidity and security in our midfield the consistency will come with it.

Southampton are awful, if we don't beat Southampton then I will be worried but I am so confident we beat them I am not even thinking about losing
I sincerely hope you are right. But Tottenham of 2019 tells me to keep my expectation in check for longer lifespan.

I have no confidence whatsoever in our ability to win any of those games. We're way too flaky. Could beat Southampton 5-0 or lose to them 1-0, who knows

I think top 4 is gonna come down to who is the least shit. Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U and us all look shit frankly.
There may even be a wild card this season imo

At home big players rested midweek for the cup, no chance we lose. However if we do top 4 is gone this season and the squad is in more trouble than anyone thought.

Everyone was saying the same about Newcastle before we played them. It's much more about what Tottenham will turn up. If it's one we've seen a few times this season already we have every chance of losing the game. It's not always about which team is better on paper, especially with us at the moment.

Do you see us playing like that against anyone let alone Liverpool?

Oh ffs - we get it, right? But do you have to infect every single part of the forum with your sack-cloth and ashes shit? Can't there be a small part of a Spurs forum that isn't about shitting on Spurs?

They have a good manager and they beat us at the end of last season. We have a better squad than most teams but we also have something like 18 pts from our last 18 games. I don't feel confident going into any league game anymore, home or away.

Top 6 will still be the top 6. People getting excited over how open it is need to take a closer look at the teams involved, the fixtures they have, the defences on show and the fact it’s 6 games old.

We just need to make sure we’re not outside the top 4. Getting players and keeping players fit is our biggest problem. Even taking in to account our current issues I think we will still finish top 4 with or without Poch.

The worst thing I can see happening is a draw.
