Can VAR be used to overrule goal line technology?
If they have the technology available, I don’t see why there can’t use it ?

Definitely went over didn’t it, unless part of the ball he was holding against the post didn’t. But it looked it.
The view they showed level with the goal frame (second replay I think) appeared to show daylight. Definitely over the line.Definitely went over didn’t it, unless part of the ball he was holding against the post didn’t. But it looked it.
Someone’s blatantly forgot to turn something on lol.

Isn't it there for clear and obvious errors? If the goal line technology isn't functioning correctly then surely it has to be looked at by VAR? They've not showed the overhead angle yet that would suggest that it's either not working or wasn't turned on or something equally as stupid. Either that or the fact it went over the line behind the post meant it didn't register on the goal line technology system?Yes but not sure it applies to goal-line tech.
Is there anyone out there that prefers the fake crowd noises over the normal no fake crowd noise? Just out of interest.

I'd be fuming if that happened to us. And would be screaming for the proof.
Shame this wasn’t on BT. I’d have loved to see Dermot Gallagher squirm to try and defend the officials and technology
