It’s the same every year. They get hyped up and the season kicks off and everyone realises they are still bang average.

To be fair wolves did well last season but they have a ceiling.

If wolves didn’t have EL this season, they might have a very slim chance of breaking the top six.

How bad must batshuayi be to not even get on the bench ahead of Abraham and giroud. A huge bullet dodged we didn’t get him.

Everyone says this about players we were linked with but you don't know how he'd improve under Poch, he's been loaned out twice and he hasn't settled anywhere.

A little part of me feels the fee and wages we were prepared to shell out for Dybala would have been better served for a bid for Wan Bissaka.. Yes 50m is too much for a RB with just one season of PL experience but he looks to be a useful investment..

RB was never a priority area for us so spending that much money on him wouldn't have made sense.

But they might drop too many points before dropping out.

They have a settled side though. Most of their main players from last season are still with them.

If this season is anything like the last one then they have will have plenty of time to catch up.

Jesus Christ I wish NBC would shut the fuck up about Pulisic.

Deuce never got this sort of attention.
Or Grandad Friedel.

He doesn’t look like a 50m player. A lot of money for potential.

What did he say?...something about a half time pie?
He was talking about Maguire getting dragged out to cover the space behind Shaw and said he's going to have to learn to cover for Shaw a lot this season.

That’s possible but I still don’t think they will trouble the top six unless some calamity befalls one or more of them.

I absolutely love the way when the commentators talk about the top clubs in England they never mention Tottenham, please keep it that way, under the radar
