That looked real bad. Where’s VAR on that? Cant review awful challenges now even though they’ve done it before?

Leno rightfully going st Maupay from the stretcher. Fuck arsenal but that was great from him. Cheered that, actually. Need more of that in football.

Haven't seen the incident, was it really Maupay's fault? BBC Live text said not.

You can't dish out red cards purely on the extent of the injury caused by the challenge.

What Maupay did was unnecessary, stupid and clumsy, but 99% of those challenges don't cause any kind of injury. It's a yellow at absolute worst and the VAR doesn't judge yellow cards.

The result of challenges like that has caused red cards before this season. The precedent had already been set

Maupay did nothing except challenge for a ball he had every right to go for. Leno did his knee before the challenge anyway, as he landed.

He jumps into a situation where he realistically can't win the ball because Leno's in complete control and has his hands up to catch it. It's silly but players do it all the time to put keepers off and injuries from those situations are very rare.

Son on Gomes. Challenge didnt warrant the action that was taken which was only taken because of the injury
But consensus in the aftermath was that VAR should've intervened and repealed the red card, so by that logic Maupay should stay on.

Leno has control of the ball before Maupay jumps. Completely unnecessary to then jump into the goalkeeper. Coward’s challenge, that.

Watching Arsenal get decimated with injuries makes me wonder if people on here will stop the woe is me, spurs have the worst luck, injury fc victim mentality but I won't hold my breathe.
