Rodrigo Bentancur (knee), Fraser Forster (back), Bryan Gil (back), Troy Parrott (groin) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) miss out through injury – all will continue their rehabilitation at Hotspur Way.

Hugo Lloris has been granted permission not to travel in order to explore prospective transfer opportunities.

If you exclude Keely, who presumably wouldn’t have traveled if Forster had been fit, and add back the five players left behind because of injury, that gives us a 35 man squad, 30 of whom are over 21. And we are still looking to bring in further players.

I appreciate that Ange is giving all the players a clean slate, but for him to run the rule over them and the club to then move on the dozen or so he has decided he isn’t going to use, in the limited time available is going to be going some.
