Subs: Forster Porro Sanchez Davies Hojberg Skipp Sarr Perisic Solomon

Foster - fine back up keeper
Porro - fine back up RB
Hojberg - fine as a back up CM
Sarr - fine as a back up CM
Perisic - good option from bench
Solomon - good option from bench
Davies - could have a better option
Sanchez- need a better option.

I don't think kits as bad as it looks, add in bentencur and Ndombele who could make the bench also.

Noone on that bench that's a big enough goal threat but I don't want to derail this thread

The line up would be if we sold Kane, we would buy a back up striker if that was the case. But yeah, not right thread for this!

Depressingly it will be this

Vicario
Emerson Romero Dier Udoghie
Bissouma
Maddison Lo Celso
Kulusevski Richarlison Son

Subs: Forster Porro Sanchez Davies Hojberg Skipp Sarr Perisic Solomon
Out first ever PL line up under Poch was:

Lloris
Naughton Kaboul Dier Rose
Capoue Bentaleb
Lennon Lamela Eriksen
Adebayor

So at least we've made a bit of progress.

This is why I don't think our club do enough to "fluff" our upcoming players. Guys like Devine, Sarr and even Skipp would be getting showcased hard because they're bloody good young players. At Spurs, most fans are just "meh" until the player makes a big statement etc. 🤷🏼‍♂️🥴

Not sure where I read it but I'm under the impression the squad should be having a friendly on Wednesday.

I reckon a good section of our fans thought this was a decent starting 11 at the time.

A left field option worth considering is that you can park in the City of London for free on a Sunday. Finsbury Circus has plenty of parking and is right by Liverpool Street station. Obviously there's the congestion charge to consider but that's probably cheaper than rail fares for a family.

The last time I drove into London was about 15 years ago to take nipper to a Cbeebies thing at Wembley.

Never again 🤣 .

Depressingly solely because of Eric Dier? Because that's a good team.
Davies over Dier as LCB.

Dier is exposed even more in a flat back four and especially under Ange when you'll likely see Royal pushed up as an inverted fullback and Udogie high up the pitch.

Thanks for that.

Waterloo to Liverpool St to Northumberland park seems the simplest route :)
The simplest route is to get the 243 bus from right outside Waterloo to Bruce Grove station . Takes ages though.

I know some people find my stance in this amusing but I’m so pissed at us imitating Real Madrid( I’ve never liked us playing in Europe in all white either) that I wrote to the club to complain!!! Guess that makes me the male equivalent of a Karen😂.
You’re not alone, I’m never a fan of ‘retro’ plain white all over. Just screams PE kit to me.

We need a nice dark Navy Blue to offset the white and add some character to the shirts

for some reason I just screamed when the reality of that sunk in

Mbeumo must be liking his lips, and anything else he can reach

I saw an interview with the Brighton top man who when asked how they recruted so many good players replied that they spend about a year analysing data, watching performances and talking to player and family to establish character. Interesting I thought, does this mean that we should be waiting until AP has been in charge a year or take pot luck as in the past!

It's not about Ange per se if you're comparing to the Brighton model. It's the way they have a settled boardroom/club management with a clear strategy, that irrespective of the manager they have a list of player targets that have been extensively scouted. Even with the manager when Potter got poached they had already identified De Zerbi to replace him.

Whereas we have absolute chaos at club management level... Paratici getting done for fraud, Munn not able to join officially, our board represented by non-football people split as to what direction they want to go in recruitment strategy for both managers and players.
