Have to admit never been a lo celso fan, but is changing my mind tonight

I just don't get this. I'm not having a go, but Gio hasn't shown anything here which he didn't show plenty of times when he played for us previously. His start was so good that we even brought his purchase forward and paid more money just to get him secured.

He's always been a good attacking midfielder. He's proven that at every club he's been at and at international level. Spurs fans just absolutely love to hate.

And of course we got that absolute bullshit trotted out by the club through the backdoors about him being a weirdo when no actual person has ever even hinted at that being true.

He was always going to be a great fit for Ange's system.

Not sure why everyone is slagging off richarlson. He's a streaky player. He stretches the defense, creates space for others, as good as any forward when it comes to pressure. We're spoiled with kane but Richarlson would score 20 goals if he had Kane's minutes.

This isn't a dig at WHU specifically, but it's remarkable how even after one game, playing against a counter attacking team with minimal ambition to press looks SO boring. Can't believe we suffered through this for the last few years. Whatever happens this season, its so refreshing to know we'll be competing in games and taking it to the opposition from minute one.
