So on Spursplay I can see Clive Allen talking but it’s being drowned out by the stadium noise

Reguilon starting is interesting, always felt he was cast aside prematurely, hopefully he's been impressing in training. Quite like the team otherwise, but boy do we need another CB.

Am i right in saying West Ham have had two pre season games out there already ?? Do we then give our team (who only landed on Saturday) a little bit of leeway performance wise ?
They've had one out there and one here against Borham Wood. We played Cambridge behind closed doors. So only really 1 more game than us at this point.

Nice.

Looking forward to see how Vicario, Tanganga, Reguillon, Porro, Bissouma, Skipp and Solomon adapt to the new tactics.

Seems like Ndombele and Son are injured and not fully fit respectively so not in the squad same for Dier and Spence and possibly Rodon who all joined up a bit later I believe (unless those 3 are just out of favour if they don't even make the 2nd XI/bench).

From the bench, interested to see: Udogie, Devine, Lo Celso, Perisic (if plays LW I think he could be very handy for us if in this 4-3-3 new tactics he doesn't move on), Richarlison

Tottally agree re. Reggi. Always felt he looked good under Jose and Conte only cast him aside because he isn't a wing back. Think he could suit this more technical, high energy, possession based role under Ange a lot better.

Their team, on paper, is well below our level.
Also just had a little 1 on 1 with Mile. He is one calm operator.
Just like Ange. For me it bodes well for Australian football.
He will learn so much from Ange.

You'd think the studio bits would be the easiest bits to practise and get right, there's really no excuse for the massive lag in the audio. I remember it being shoddy in the pre-season last season as well but it was a new service then, they've had a year to work on it ffs.

I did wonder if part of the reason we sent so many players on loan last season rather than selling on the cheap was with an eye to an attacking manager coming in and using them down the line.

Obviously if we'd got a decent offer for them, I'm sure they would've been sold, but I bet Levy did have this in the back of his mind for some of the more talented players that Conte rejected. Especially given Conte's contractual situation and general volatility.
