I actually thought Son was really good as a sole striker for us when he had to go there instead of Kane. The team somewhat faltered at times (although I'm not sure that much statistically) but usually that was from a lack of depth because if Son is covering Kane then who is covering Son?

I actually thought there was some stat going around that Son's numbers improved when Kane was out but maybe that was just bollocks. That said it could be a bit of a Ronaldo and Benzema situation.
