I have a gooner who is going on about this is Spurs best start to a season since 1961 whilst it is Ar*enal's worst start in 58 years. I think he has seen somewhere after the first 2 or 3 games. Does anyone know where I can get historic information of league points after 15 games?

it would take ages to work out, if you went through every season.

No way is this Arsenalol's worst 15 game start for 58 seasons.

I suggest going to Top Spurs and add up all the points for the seasons when we finished top 6.

Could've been Arsenals worst for something like 30 years up until after the Spurs game, but since then they haven't dropped many points.

Someone said this on twitter the other day. I think it was more after 6 games or something like that. Before they went on their good little run.

But it just goes to show that they always start well but then come february they fall off the pace!

Yeah I've also seen some Arsenal fans stating this on their facebooks / twitters.

It's not true, although their start was rocky, points after 15 games, has to be up there with a good season.

Arsenal had exactly the same points to game ratio last year. They were on 29 points from 15 games, 2 points off the lead and Wenger was talking up the title chances.

So tell him it's their worst start since last year.

Three years ago they were worse off though.

So I'd say your Gooner mate doesn't know what he's talking about!
