Whilst I agree, I don't think he is really a right back. He was brought in to replace Walker, who was far more of an attacking wing back than right back. Suddenly he is expeceted to be a disaplined right back in a back four with no cover from midfield? Doesn't seem correct to me. Poch is at fault for asking him to play there. I don't want to see Winks given the role of defensive midfielder anymore either. And I don't want to see a fucking diamond formation when we don't have the players to play it.I say Aurier playing at right back (or even in or near the 1st eleven) is 'so difficult to accept' any more
He doesn't have a football brain
Walker could defend. Aurier is a defender , he needs to defend first.
He would have spoken to Poch about kwp and serge. A right back was never linked over summer even though cash was available.Hey you guys; don't forget that we received a healthy £70 million by selling our two right fullbacks; it appears that we can't just plug in another squad-body to replace them; maybe time spend some money Daniel?
