What is your definition of Latin America then? It's generally considered to be the countries that predominantly speak Latin-based languages, so all of South America, most of Central America and parts of the Carribean. I've personally never heard of a definition of Latin America that doesn't include Argentina so I'm intrigues as to where you're trying to go with this.

I live here in Buenos Aires and many here do not consider themselves Latin American, in fact all the countries furthest south are better represented under the name of Southern Cone. This covers Argentina, Uruguay and Chile I believe. You even have books written in differing variations of Spanish, European Spanish, Latin American Spanish and Southern Cone Spanish.

I'm aware there are different variations of spanish, in particular in Argentina and Uruguay, but people there not considering themselves to be Latin American is almost certainly the same sort of attitude that e.g. people from Yorkshire have about being a Yorkshireman not British etc. That doesn't change the fact that the majority of people consider them to be part of it one way or another, so the other poster scoffing at the suggestion as if someone had just said Argentina was part of Australia or something ridiculous was just uncalled for.

It is an attitude but also a fact that 80% plus of the population are caucasian Europeans. Latinos conjour up a certain image and culture that I don't really see here. Don't except your example but I see your point.

Glad Pleat said that but it’s obvious that’s what the situation was. Anything else was people making a mountain out of a molehill.

You have to consider poch is unlike Mourinho or conte That will stop working when his demands are not met. He is a professional and will behave that way. What it will do is to decrease the trust whatever the club or levy say in future and will definitely consider if there is next big opportunity comes his way. Its not his loss it will be ours.

So yes, whilst Tottenham will always exist I don't think you can just dismiss what he has added to the club in such a pithy football cliche as this.

It will be small comfort if we spend the next 15 years trying to replace him with AvB, santinis and Gerry Francis's again.
