Nerd challenge accepted. 0 divided by 0 is anything you want it to be. Therefore 0/0 = infinity is a true statement. It is just not the only true statement of identity. 0/0 = 5 is also true, for example, since the numerator is 5 times the denominator it is true by definition.
Different than Schrodinger's Cat imo since the cat presumably cannot be both alive and dead, but it is not logically inconsistent for 0/0 to equal both infinity and 5.
I know the above is total bullshit but had fun making it up.

I have noted your sneaky use of font colour, and, given that, it may therefore suprise you that you could be right on the basis that if division is the inverse of multiplication and anything x 0 = 0 then 0/0 = anything. I imagine that's what you meant, yes?!

In a sense we are both right. 0/0 is both any number you wish it to be, and at the same time indefineable. Mainly becasue like infinity, zero is not actually a number, but a concept.

Sigh, I've reluctantly come to agree with the opening post. I mean Poch wasn't my first choice, I wanted FDB, but I've supported him 100% from the day he was appointed until now. But my patience has worn thin. Sure we've seen some exciting imaginary football, but we've not won anything and we're currently bottom of the 14/15 table.
