If it was anyone else you'd think this was nonsense made up by a journalist but with Ade sadly I believe it. Such a waste, there's a really good player who we can get nothing out of.

Not sure I'd want him in and around the youth players to be honest.

To me this sounds like he was calling Poch's bluff on not being included in the teams and lost

If he's gone against Poch's orders he shod be fined and THEN made to train with the u21s.

Best to keep him as far away from the other players as possible. Let him train with Arsenal! Sure they would love that.

So they don't include him in any of the squads but they are upset he wants to train with youth team. I'm confused why would he want to train with the first team knowing that he won't get any games.

But we have to try and blame ade some how right guys.

He was given the opportunity to go to other teams where he would get playing time. He refused. He is responsible for being in this position.

For 100k per week I'd expect him to do what the f*** he's told.

I'd pay up his contract and get him the hell out of the club!!
Away from any of our players.

No, he was given the opportunity to have his contract broken and be paid less than he was owed. If he's responsible then so is the club.

The situation is simply unacceptable. To have a perfectly capable CF being paid 100k a week and not being involved in the side whatsoever is just absurd.

Say what you like about Tim but he managed to coax some half decent performances out of the guy which shows he actually has some man management skills.

Expecting Harry to bear the burden of the striking responsibilities alone (ok Son and N'Jie etc etc) while Ade sits at home collecting a king's ransom is just disgraceful but he's under no obligation to leave as we agreed the contract with him in the first place.

Poch should have done more to ensure that in the event of him staying that he'd at least be motivated to play as a back-up. This was one of the (many) factors leading to AVBs ultimate demise after all.

Ha ha ha he really is a twat. Completely nuts. I guarantee he believes he is the wronged man as well. He shouldn't be infecting our youth either. Let him stay at home

The reports that I read never mentioned him getting any less than he is currently being paid.

From what I read his contract wouldn't be paid off and he'd be accepting a lower wage elsewhere. West Ham and Villa said, as far as I recall, that his wage demands were too high.

From his perspective I guess he's got a contract that says he gets paid X amount, the people who gave it to him now want him to rip it up, not pay the reminder off and go get a job elsewhere for less money.

His market value at the moment is between 20-40k per week. Even that is a push and he'd be unlikely to get offered more than a two year contract at his age. That means his current contract is still worth much more than his next and there's a loyalty bonus to consider (I heard £5mill somewhere but that could be horse). No one would leave in these circumstances. He will still likely get offered a 2 year deal next summer. It annoys me that Spurs can't use him but Poch can't and that is that. We all know we would do the same as him, that kind of money overrides any 'love of the game'. He was a gamble and we lost, we will roll again next summer.

Edit: and then he leaves. lol! Love of the game :)

I wouldn't even let him near the training ground, ban him completely, see how he likes training at the local gym and then when January comes round maybe he'll be more willing to accept a pay off
