Out.

No consistency points to the culture in the squad and the coaching staff drives that. Well coached and managed squads achieve a baseline of performance so that even if you have a couple of poor runs, they do not continue for more than a handful of games.

We've lost half the effing games played this calendar year. This is 90's form.
You should post more you Magnificent Bastard :sneaky:

Biggest problem here is that we have stuff wrong on a lot of levels.
Squad has received under investment. Think I heard £80m net spend in five years. Utd City £600m. That’s on Levy
We have too many players that have either gone stale, don’t want to be here or are incredibly bang out of form. Big signing. NDombele needs a year so settle I’m sure but on first looks he is a long long way of the Prem pace. Even if he’s shown a few good bits of footwork here and there he has been poor. Who knows on Lo Celso and Sess. No luck there.
And Poch isn’t blameless either. Tactics changed for every game and the diamond is apocalyptically bad.

Moving Poch on won’t change that much.
I’d much rather see Eriksen et al shifted ASAP. And at the very least an Rb signed in January.

Interesting watching Leicester atm. Young fresh vibrant. Good fullbacks. Opposite of us right now

I think that's accurate.

Levy will be hoping this turns round quickly, but fail to beat Waford and a hammering at Anfield will see the end of Poch, unless like you say, he's prepared to write off top 4 and is going to back Poch with a complete rebuild

There is no way on earth Levy is writing off this season and top 4 in some demented hope that Poch leads a rebuild. Imagine Levy does that and Poch fucks off to Madrid in the summer anyway. People are way overplaying Poch's importance to Spurs. It's like he's become some mythical God.

If Levy feels we will miss out on top 4 this season, Poch is gone, just like every other manager who managed the team to a shambles.

His stubbornness is his undoing. Could have signed plenty of players over last 2 seasons. All ITK pointed that out. Only wanted a ‘specific’ player. This is on him. There are plenty of players who would have freshened up our squad and improved us, but seemingly he didn’t want any of them. All this sh*t about levy not backing him appears untrue.

Well we'll find out soon enough, between now and the November international break.

You can’t prove any of that can you?

I’m still in the ‘Stay’ camp. I want to see what we’re like with more of the squad available, especially his summer signings. I’m also not really convinced there’s a better option out there.

That’s not to say I don’t have reservations. He makes such a big deal about loyalty and team spirit, then tells everyone he might quit Spurs on the eve of one of the biggest games in our history. That’s a poor message to send out, and an unnecessary one as well. What possible purpose did it serve to state that publicly?

Yeah, it's on Levy that we have a squad most Man Utd fans will be jealous of having spent a fraction of the money, that frugal bastard...

Interesting.

Before the Brighton game, the stay : go ratio was roughly 62 to 38.

And it's still there or thereabouts after a 3-0 drubbing.

I would have expected the poll to have moved more and reacted quicker.

Which, incidentally, is what I used to say when I watched Rasiak.

I wanted to give you an agree rating, but that last line floored me!

Rogers is a great manager but they had 2 shots vs lpool, lpool had 18, shows how far ahead the top 2 are from everyone else

It’s interesting that people keep wanking over Leicester ( overrated ) Didn’t Poch turn down Tielemans and Perreira?
I think both were correct calls but Poch and Leicester lovers will probably forget that.

There been so many players that have moved in the last two seasons that would have helped us but we weren’t interested for whatever reason. It’s reached the stage where it’s very very very easy to improve our side now.

Problem is, I just don't see it getting any better. Lets be honest we have been poor since the turn of the year. The Champions league final paper overered the cracks and we were lucky to get there in the first place. Not sure why its gone so badly wrong but somethings not right with the club. I hope Poch can turn it around but i believe he would have done so already and the things he is trying are just not working.

Great manager? How exactly? One good season off the back of Suarez for Liverpool? Or winning everything with a Championship level side in a division full of national league level sides?

He’s going well at Leicester but he’s so far off being a great manager it’s laughable. At the moment, decent is the best description.

Who are the players who would have improved us that he turned down?

Joao Mario? Do me a favour. We don't know what he was offered, but if it was more Janssens, then it's understandable. He dug his heels in and waited for Ndombele and Sess in particular. I've no problem with that. It still seems to me that Levy wouldn't accept lower prices like the £14m Watford offered for Rose (as an example) which, may be fair enough, but there's still too much apparent nonsense going on with Levy and the deadwood.

It appears Poch didn't get EVERYTHING he wanted in the window including resolving the futures of players like Eriksen in particular.

The guy has never had anything but a moneyball squad full of injuries.

I get that but the squad he has is good enough to beat Colchester, Newcastle and Brighton.

As well as win at least one away game in 8+ months.

That's the problem here. I don't expect him to beat the other teams in the top 6 every time. I do expect him to be able to put out a team to beat the shit that's been beating us with regularity in 2019.

You can’t prove any of that can you?

Can you prove the contrary? ITK's are not always right but the have been proven to provide insightful information over the year and several ITK's have stated that Poch have been incredibly picky the last two seasons and that quite a few of his targets were more or less unobtainable. Still, Levy went and tried and almost pulled off a few of them like Frenkie de Jong.

When was the last time we saw a player genuinely improve under Poch? Sissoko last season and then we have to go back at least three seasons.
As a manager Poch is responsible for this squad and working with the tools at hand and currently, he's far from getting the most out of it.
