Undecided for a few more games. But next three (2 PL and CL) are crucial and not that tough on paper. If he still has team on his side we will get results with good performances. If not, why prolong it any further?

The really worrying thing tonight for me was how insipid we were after half time.

That wasn't a team who had been inspired by their manager. And that's when problems start.

Not time to go now. But I think if we don't improve in the next 3 games then questions will rightly be asked.
A big part of the problem tonight is we had 9 players on the pitch who had just played 60 mins on Saturday a man down. On top of that we were playing a diamond and they were a 433 hugging the touch lines. What ever energy our midfield had ran out after 30 mins of pressing. The Thiago sub killed us, as he is playmaker who is excellent at making use of space and moving the ball around quickly and cleverly. We never had a chance with this line up.

A lot of things to sort out at the club but the coach is not the main one. Once again our lack of an on field skipper is hurting us. We need someone to grab hold of them when under pressure and lift them. To me your keeper and centre forward are not the player to do it. The player doesn't even have to be a super star but possess heart.

Can't believe the numbers.

Have people lost the plot?

We've been playing pretty well, we hit the post at Arsenal which would have killed the game. VAR ruled out a goal at Leicester which would have capped off an almost certain impressive away win.

We played well tonight for the first 30. Tonight was a freak result, everything Bayern hit went in.
I remember Wenger using that excuse when we beat them 5-1, it made me laugh then too.
And yes, I have the DVD

Poch has earned the right to rebuild, even if we don't finish in CL positions this year he still stays.

It might mean that this season is inconsistent and has a range of results.

First things first though, sort the defence and its protection ahead of it.

So much of our defensive problems stems from not having Dier drop back from DM and effectively making it a 3 in defence. Playing Winks as a DM was one of the dumbest experiments I have seen. Would have made more sense to play Sissoko there if we really, really had to. Beyond that, it is so better balanced and as you say, We have exactly the team for it.
And this for me is why I’m on the potch out fence. Tactically Ive never ever thought he was good enough. Klopp and pep are on another level. poch errors:
- son LWB in fa cup semi
- not reacting to alegri tactical switch in CL QF
- poor tactics in fa cup semi vs man.u, Jose completely got the better of him even though we had a better team
- this seasons diamond doesn’t work
- dropped Lucas for the CL final when Kane wasn’t fit and Lucas was on form of his life
- making subs too late
- no plan B
- no consistent plan A
- poor game management
- poor use of the media

I could go on.

I don't agree we have been playing well but I do think things have gone against us. The Kane penalty against Newcastle. The woodwork against Arsenal and the offside against Leicester. Those 6 points would move us to 2nd place above Man City. It's a game of fine of fine margins and we are not that far off, so for me Poch deserves more time. I also agree that Bayern were ruthlessly clinical tonight and 7-2 was a bit of a freak scoreline.
Sorry mate bigger picture weve been shit for about a year now and on the decline. Squad and tactics and motivation are a mess. Did I also mention Colchester?

Many are more Pochettino fans than Tottenham. It shocked me before the CL final when he said he'd walk if we win, and there were polls and discussion about whether people would prefer to lose the final if it meant Poch staying. I mean what's the point with Poch if it's not to get us results and trophies? There must be a lot of people in our fan base with dad issues.

This. We actually have the squad for this system.
Totally right and some of our best moments have come using this formation. There though lies the fundamental problem with Poch. He can't see it and that over everything tells me far more about his ability to manage us. I mean how can you be so blinded by your own belief that you are playing the likes of Winks there, who is never, ever gonna hold in that position, or how can you not see the glaring space that our exposed full backs were giving away!? My faith, if I had any left has gone completely after tonight's performance. Brighton must be licking their lips!

How have we gone from a team that most in the league feared, to one where we are so predictable that the opposition actually sees 3pts on the table!?

Agreed. I like Winks but he’s too small for that role. Get Dier in alongside him, move Sissoko to full back, replace Eriksen with Ndombele.

Stay.

He does piss me off with his complaints and threats to leave, and random tactical decisions, but sometimes you need to take a step back and see the bigger picture.

We’re complaining about a spanking in the CL. A tournament we were begging to get into, and one in which we reached the bloody final under him only a few months ago.

We’ve got injuries and players out of form. Contract disputes and the inevitable comedown atmosphere after coming so close to glory. Keep the faith. At this point there’s about as much risk hoping he can turn things around as banking on some new manager to reach his previous achievements.

I'm sorry but the bigger picture here is that Poch is not going to change, he has far too much foolish pride, he insists with the the diamond formation that just doesn't work, he puts players in positions that don't suit them, and a lot of people in this thread are saying, oh let's see what happens next game....hmm yeah give him time I think he just needs more time to change things...let's hope he will stop using the diamond formation. I mean seriously, wake up! All this wishful thinking is not going to happen. He has lost most of the dressing room, and things are rotten to the core at the club. Poch only sees things HIS WAY and will never change, that's just the type of person he is.

Opposition players go from half way line to penalty box before they get closed down, and Poch does nothing. How can none of them see it?

Poch’s odds to be the next premier league manager sacked are 7-2.

Which is pretty funny.

Voted stay but I want to see some serious improvement and sharpish. Yes, we all know Levy has cut Poch off at the knees but Poch hasn't helped himself. His attitude has been poor for months, the football has been poor for months and good, good players - players we know are quality - are seriously underperforming.

For me he stays but.... never want to see another spurs player give up again and we play same way tactically then for me my patience will disappear
