Just following the gossip if these include Aurier and Origi we could have done with them today. Our luck has to change, soon I hope we'll win a few games we don't really deserve to.

It's easy to get carried Away and play the blame card.
I feel new signings will have freshen the team or squad up and most likely made a difference with the results for our first two home games most especially against burley

Does the prospect of saving a few million quid on last minute transfers really justify the risk of unsettling the squad and a possible slow start to the season? I can't see the logic in it, but somehow Levy can. For all the good he's done, it's almost like he's going out of his way to sabotage it sometimes!

I cant believe the squad should need freshening up so early in the season.

'ere we go...
The fact that we have this squad, this manager, this training facility and the stadium under construction is down to Levy and his bean counting. He wants to and is running a sustainable BUSINESS. Not saving a few MILLION quid is what bankrupts a BUSINESS in the long run.
Good job Levy.

Well obviously, to make any signings would be beneficial - early in the transfer window, yeah, but DL (you know how he is) feels there is more value in the TW later on (well, very later!) Of course, it means any major transfers are done early on; but then, whether we could afford them or not is debatable. (as, with the new stadium on the way, probably not).

But then, a few roles have been identified by Poch as well as us fans. @bigspurs do you think we shouldn't fill these places then? We obviously can't leave our squad untouched - none of our rivals have...

I can't help but be fearful that Sanchez is a replacement for Toby (next year) and Foyth is just Wimmers replacement. I'm still waiting for a signing that will actually improve us and it hasn't happened so I don't blame anyone for being agitated at the moment.

Let leave the moaning til next week though, you never know.

For me, this last minute transfer policy is counter productive. I'm well grateful for everything he's done, but unlike you, I haven't permanently got the old rose tinted glasses on. I can actually criticise the guy when I think he's wrong sometimes.
