So let’s get this straight....we want to offload players and clear squad size but we reject one leaving over £1.5m? You’ve gotta be kidding me.

Its still business you don't just accept the first offer (10m for an international striker who has been fairly successful for the NL in a bad period for them is a fair price in a market where a kid from brazil who played well for 1 month is going for £50m) I don't think he's being unreasonable here.

This is Levy all over though, isn’t it?

Screws any buyer for every penny but then expects to haggle hard on each incoming.

£6m for a year long loan is crazy. Not sure where he values him for a sale!

£8.5m can’t be too too far off, he hasn’t really done much in the last few seasons.

He's a £10m player minimum. Levy should really be looking at around £15m for a 24 year old who might come good with today's inflation rates. I think £10m is a good deal for all Newcastle get themselves a player that needs a new lease of life, Tottenham make space on their books for a player their league position really means they can't take another chance on and Vincent gets a fresh start somewhere where they'll be less demand for him to score all the time and win games. £10m is a good deal anything less is low balling

Tom Ince has just gone in the championship for £10m rising to £12m - VJ had a bad season but he still is young and has a scoring history - £8.5m seems unbelievably low for a premier league striker in the current nuts climate

Speaking of Fulham, Jansen would probably be a good cheap (ish) signing for them - worth the gamble IMO
Yeah, speaking as a Spurs fan! He guarantees a goal from a pen, but he's not cheap when he doesn't score any goals from open play. It's obvious that he lost confidence so much he was keeping away from goal and doing the old work rate thing.

Janssen hold up play back to goal would do all sorts for players like Sessegnon bombing on behind. If they play him to his strengths suited to the Premier League he can most certainly be a handful

But that’s literally all Mitrovic has ever done in the premier league? He looked great and scored a lot of goals in the championship but I’m pretty sure Jansen would look great in the championship too
