48 more to reach Bobby Smith? Tough, but a great target to aim for. Would be a hell of an achievement to become our third highest scorer of all time.

Our only world-class player left.

He's going to be very hard to replace in a few years time.

Weirdly I’ve always had more affection for Sonny than I did Kane and I’m not sure why.
For me, it was when Kane did the Neville interview, then a couple of months later, after the farcical manger hunt ending with Nuno, Son signed a new contract, which I don't think anyone expected. That moved him well clear of Kane in my eyes.

Kane, despite coming from our youth team, has never really seemed 100% one of us to me, and I don't think that is because he isn't, but rather his interview style is just so dull, scripted and cliche ridden, that he came across as not having any passion or even care for us, but seeing the way he celebrates after scoring Vs one of our rivals, makes me think he probably is one of us.

I think it's just palpable and demonstrable that he cares as much for the club as he does for his own career. Whether that's down to the faith we showed in him around his national service, who he is as a person, or both.

Kane, in fairness through no fault of his own as it's hardly a controversial way to act, cares more about his career than this club.

So that's why I care more for Sonny, as he cares more for me.

Unfortunately one of those frustrating games from him tonight, contributed so little. Very frustrating for such a big game for us, a win would have been huge. It's mad how such a brilliant player can put in the odd performance like this, real shame.

Well he's put several of them in recently, the difference with the others being he's often scored or assisted to mask the overall performance.

True he has but he's always contributed either a goal or assist so you can forgive that but tonight was really poor. Had trampolines instead of shin pads tonight. Tonight obviously isn't on him but just raging he had such a poor game.

I can’t think of a single touch, pass, or shot of his that was remotely positive today.

The frustrating thing is that you know he’s able to deliver when it matters so you have to suffer these performances, but it’s really not a pretty watch.

Love him to bits but I wish he’d go back to taking more responsibility to shoot when in range.

Son is a celebrity. Kane isn't.
Son knows how to come across well.

Wasn’t at his best today, think that resulted in him getting out of position and left us without anyone in that CF spot when balls were played across the box and there were a few.

Think we may have a problem in future because I'm not actually sure what he is anymore. He's not a winger and he isn't a striker, tactically Ange needs to figure out where he wants to play Son long term before we make any signings.
