That’s not a fact. It’s an opinion.

As we paid £30m for Sissoko several seasons ago and just spent £100m on 3 players on the summer and have just got a player in loan with a £56m buy option I would say your “fact” is now outdated.
In case you have failed to notice we only play with one Centre Forward so once H returns theres a good chance the new guy will be redundant hence we have paid 50m for a squad player something Daniel will not do, the players you have noted can all play in various positions and don't have any one player (one of the best in the world) in their way, anyway the proof of the pudding is in the eating so lets see if Levy pays 50m for a CF, either way i will come back to you on the 1st Feb with either an apology or a i told you so.
One way round it is to buy a Centre Forward who can also play as a wide forward (such as Josh King) but to be fair i can't see that happening either.

Yeah but it's always easy to scapegoat the foreign player instead of the good ole English lads.

Not having that. Dawson, Jenas, Defoe, Lennon and Rose have all been scapegoats without even having to think about it. Actually I would add Dier to that list too as he has been given fuck all but greif since getting over his illness.

You can add Trippier to that list too

this is nonsense. I don’t know why people buy into this. No other club in the world operates with one striker in their entire squad, I don’t care how good Kane is and frankly he’ll be off in not too long so I’d be getting ahead of that even if it wasn’t a complete joke.

look at pretty much every other squad in the premier league and they have better striking options than us. This is similar to that “theres no one available that can improve us” arrogant piping horseshit that a load of people chowed down on too

Your missing the point and that is will Levy pay 50m for a back up CF ? yes most other teams have more than one CF but how many have a back up CF with a value of more than 50m ?

I see we’ve moved on to the next target by slagging off Son.

Son is a great player, but has always been streaky and always been a bit too greedy.

The problem is a lot of fans went so overboard with him saying he’s better than Hazard etc that when he hits bad form all of a sudden we should just cash in on him.

when players perform badly they deserve criticism, doesn't mean they are scapegoats. Son's been poor since his return from being suspended, when we really needed him to return and be on top form.

No issue with criticism, I agree he’s been poor, but calls that he’s not good enough or sell him and reinvest. Nah, that’s just ridiculous.

I think Kane and Dele are both guilty of the same thing that Son is being accused of.

Check out https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/total_scoring_att

Ali ranked 75, only took 20+ shots.
In comparison, Son, played less and took 56 shots.

Often Son shoots when a pass to an open player is the better choice.

You want to know why Ali's goal has dried up? Its because of the emergence of selfish Sonny.
When Ali was bombing it in, Lamela was first choice.

I will never ever sell Son. He might have his off days, but we're so lucky to have him. I would have him at Spurs for his entire career. Crazy how some people think.

I think some people think if a player is not delivering that we should sell them! What we should be doing is buying them competition, a player equal to or greater than in ability

I know Jose may like a big strong brute of a striker. But Son has been brilliant in the past in Kane's absence. So Jose will simply have to figure it out.

Our players have to stop being so greedy and start squaring for easy goals instead of going for personal glory far too often. Pisses me off immensely. Son has been really greedy far too often this season.

Sonny makes Garth Crooks' team of the week!

"Son Heung-min: If ever Tottenham needed a performance out of Son Heung-min, then this was it. In the absence of Harry Kane, Spurs are struggling up front. Son is a runner and not a natural striker with his back to goal, which leaves Spurs lacking someone who can hold and retain the ball. " ?
