Because he was having another poor game? He’s just got to improve his decision making.
I am not sure he can. He does have ability but I suspect, and it is only a suspicion, he doesn't have much of a footballing brain. It would explain why he makes so many bad mistakes despite considerable experience and when he is actually very keen to do well.

Another stunningly poor performance, matched perfectly by Davies. The sale of Trippier makes less and less sense with every match.

the error was not in the sale of Trippier. It was the failure of getting in a better replacement/s. We needed better quality RBs than trippier or Aurier.

So read a snippet on another thread from Hercs saying that he doesn’t expect Aurier to play for us again after an incident that happened yesterday which he won’t go in to detail on. If this is the case will we now see Foyth as our regular RB. Not ideal playing West Ham at 12:30pm on the Saturday when Foyth and GLC will be late back from international duty.

it really is baffling that the entire forum can see where the problems in our team are but the management team can’t. Likewise as I don’t really follow much football apart from spurs (which I’m finding increasing difficult these days) I see a load of names of players that we should buy go on to sign for other clubs and turn out to be very very good player. Again surely if a bunch of people on an Internet forum can spot a good right back and likewise a bad one (go back and read the Aurier transfer thread where loads of people had reservations) then how can our scouts be so inept?

He is crap and God knows who scouted this clown and thought it would be a good idea to sign him. Only been playing by default because a gust of wind would take out the weakling that is KWP. Can't wait to see the back of Aurier and get a proper RB in.

Maybe a reference to the passage of play before Dele was subbed? United attacked down their left and Aurier was nowhere to be seen. He strolled back towards our goal while Sissoko covered and it looked like he was injured. When Dele went off and Aurier stayed on it was obvious there was nothing wrong with him and that he just couldn’t be bothered to chase back.

Apparently we looked at Ricardo for a long time but didn't do the deal as issues with third party ownership but somehow Leicester were able to get it done... we just dither on so many players it's just frustrating.

Familiar story. Amazing how hard it is for us with these deals, but other teams have no issues.

I am pretty sure this is the case. Hopefully he will just be released but I doubt it. His attitude during matches is terrible, really letting the ones that you can see trying down.

He is asking for time, but doesn’t know if he will get it. Well! Nobody is going give him 12-18 months for his new signings;whoever they are) to get up to speed with his way of bringing things together.

If he survives until wet spam. OPINION! OPINION! OPINION! He will be under severe pressure to play Sess from the start, along with TN (if fit) and GLC. Can’t see Aurier starting after today. Reasons I will not share! So I call that OPINION also!

We were seduced by the PSG factor, thinking he must be half decent if he's playing for them, but unfortunately this ain't the case

One of the best on the pitch today. Great cross for Kane goal, very solid at the back, few great headers in our penalty box, nutmegs and dribbling. Fully expect for him to receive red card next game.

He played with discipline today and IF he does that consistently, he isn't a bad player to have on the squad. Still need an upgrade at this point,. I did notice that there were a few recovery runs that were slow enough that it left two men behind Davinson and Toby at the top of the box.

I've repeatedly spoken out against this SC demonising of our FBs, and I feel today is one small step on the way of showing why. Few mistakes on either side of the FBs, and no bad mistakes. For Aurier some incisive action and good pass accuracy. I've never thought the quality of our FBs was the biggest problem, and will be great to see moving forward how this develops.
