Genoa do have Napoli's Østigård as wanted replacement though, so one to keep an eye on.

Its good that Napoli is still trying - hopefully that kicks us to close the deal sooner.

Napoli aren't going to pay him wages like spurs. He also has players here he knows from juve. Just the usual gesturing

Based on nothing more than a hunch I reckon this is nearly done and the media are trying to wring as much click bait traffic out of it as they can before it becomes official

Fabrizio Romano commented on a rumour about Napoli coming in to tell Tottenham fans to relax and have patience, it’s on the right track.

He seems very vocal about this deal and very confident in our favour.

I know Napoli have just won the Scudetto, but I think given a straight choice he'd clearly choose us. To a non-Italian the Premier League is much more appealing, while Napoli are in a bit of a shambles - they've fallen to 8th place and sacked their new coach just 16 games into his tenure. Last year was a one-off, whilst Osimhen is clearly gearing up for a move abroad having signed a deal with a fairly reasonable release clause.

I’m no good at coming up with songs, but IF we sign him, I really think any song needs to be to the tune of Rasputin by Boney M.
Sure we could come up with something to the tune of PSB's 'It's a Sin'........or maybe not! :cautious:
