If that £15+4m bid is correct then we’re waiting for Saints to come off the valuation alittle. If Saints refuse KWP + cash too then we have to decide if its worth getting in a clear primary target early to have the pre season period(albeit abbreviated) to work with Jose for maybe £6m extra. Personally, I think it is as we want him in the first XI.

Maybe we are / were in for Gray? Not the craziest link in the world imo. Just saying.
It always amazes me the amount of direct opposition players we see to be linked with the week before we play a club. Almost a tactic - whether European teams or domestic.

Probably been posted before but this video I like. Old of course and from Bayern days but it's character and personality.

It's an easy way for the media to run an article about both clubs. Nothing more.

He used to be reliable many moons ago as he was once used to leak info from the club. A bit like how they use Gold and Kilpatrick now. As for whether he’s got good info now, I’m not sure.

I'm a little sceptical as to the reliability of his links now.

If anyone has doubts as to Hojbjerg's quality - the fact that the two managers trying to sign him are Jose Mourinho and Carlo Ancelotti should allay those concerns somewhat, IMO.
That just tells you that the two clubs need that kind of player. Hojbjerg fits the bill. My view, as I've said before is this: it's an uninspiring signing that makes sense. He isn't a great player, but he would improve that. Today we've been linked with Brozovic. For me, that would be a much better purchase.

His statement at 1m50s reminds me of this: ''It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory".

Apparently he has had 46 shots this season without scoring, the most shots for any player without a goal in the premier league. Luckily he’s pretty good at tackling / interceptions.

I think Mourinho said something about targeting leaders, so this one makes sense. Hopefully also Grealish and that AZ midfielder who is a young captain.

Unfortunately, I think Grealish is beyond our financial reach now. I would love to be wrong because he would work wonders as a winger in our 442 system
