King Of The Lane has been VERY active on twitter. Got some stuff right early on, but has made a lot of claims I'm waiting to see come to fruition before I fully judge. Seems very new to this so is happy to reply to every comment, much to the disapproval of Gard's and other seasoned ITKs (due to transfer sensitivity). Regardless he's giving me my fix this window and look forward to the daily goss lol

I haven't seen KOTL come up with anything that wasn't already stated by someone else. Until shown otherwise, I assume he is someone who picks up from ITK from elsewhere and parrots it as his own, then receives praise from the Twitterati who don't realise there are other sources, and retweets this to validate himself. Having said that, he tweets so f***ing much I can't read all of them

POTL, phantom of the lane, was a good ITK on another site COYS I think, bit in love with himself though, went balls out on Willian being done then stopped posting when it fell through iirc.

No idea who KOTL is though

Don't know if I can get banned for ex-ITK bashing but POTL was an idiot. I was part of another site and we used to laugh so hard at him and the way those on COYS sucked up to him and lauded his every word, even though he never actually said anything.

He was caught out by the Blue and Yellow thing - he confirmed it was Rossi, then when it fell through tried to claim it had been Adebayor all along. Even those on COYS called out his bullshit, he stopped posting after that.

I found this site because whilst there is respect of ITK's there are rules and no fawning of every teenager with access to newsnow claiming to be ITK.

POTL was just about the worse kind of ITK, lots of cryptic bollocks so vague he could then spin it to whoever we signed and was so far up his arse he got upset if anyone dared to question him.

Wouldn't pay much attention to Saints fans' opinion on him.
Look what we do every time one of our players is about to leave

So, from what I’ve read, because we are all happy with this signing, we’ve decided to argue about spelling and pronunciation instead. Ok.

Turned into a bit of a pot noodle and a wank thread, hasn't it?

Being Greek I’m more than used to a horrible spelling, and having an unusual name myself I know I appreciate it when people take care with it (my first name is unusual whether speaking to Greeks or English). However, it’s really not worth getting irate about. Most people (myself included) make simple spelling and grammar mistakes in their own language on a regular basis, so unusual names in different languages with strange accented letters aren’t going to be a priority, and that’s fine. Life’s too short to get wound up by someone spelling it Hoyberg.

Very close. the "jerg" in "bjerg" is pronounced "yeah/y-air". So 'Hoy-byeah would be somewhat closer I'd say.
Høj (high) Bjerg (mountain/hill). Højbjerg is an area in the southern part of Aarhus.
Extremely difficult to pronounce much like some Belgian and Dutch names.

Aarhus? In the middle of our street?
