Translate suggests it says:

PEDRO PORRO, in NEGOTIATIONS with TOTTENHAM

❌ Sporting CP has not accepted the latest offer of the 'Spurs': One-player rights + money + bonus.

?Tomorrow, new conversations. Inform @DarioMonteroG.
This was the tweet from a few days ago.

So on the day Conte apparently goes from some news outlets we get more news from others regarding Zaniolo and Porro, a player who clearly works best in a conte type set up. Standard Spurs day then really

The TOTTENHAM-SPORTING negotiation for PEDRO PORRO continues.

Tottenham is very serious and it is expected that in the next few days they will be able to convince Sporting Lisbon.
Information of @DarioMonteroG

For clarity, this is the reporter who broke the news (in Spain) of our first offer.

El Chiringuito know nothing about anything.

This would be crazy but would sum us up.

Fresneda is a very highly rated talent and wanted by many clubs so on the surface you’d think it’s a coup. The issue is he is completely different to Porro and is a FB not a wing back.

This kid is being talked about as fitting in to scum or city’s team as an inverted FB who pushes in to cm to play to his strengths.

Would just show we have absolutely no plan or identity for how we want to play medium to long term.

And even if we went to a back 4, this kid is more suited to the narrower type of back 4 according to reports I’ve read.

Funny these tweets are saying Sporting are playing hard ball lol. They have all along stated their stand he can leave when the release clause is met. We are the one haggling.

Pretty clear this is Levy and Co trying playing games with Porro and we likely have no interest in Fresnada.

The lack of activity in this window, no in's, no out's, smacks of Conte getting his P 45. The great irony is that I can understand the hesitancy in regard to not buying a wing - back, a new manager might not want one, but we need 2 CB"s, at the very least one, plus a new keeper. Even blind Freddy can see that, it's immaterial who the manager is. Hang on a minute it might be blind Freddy. More likely to be Tuchel, he has loved Spurs since he was a boy. We'll soon get that out of his head.

Levy special coming up Conte will be sacked by Friday and then no signings. Then the following week the QSI possible takeover will dissappear.
Levy knows all he has to fo is wait it out for a couple of weeks and the fans anger will disappear.
Embarrasing the way our club is run had enough of this shit every season!

Indeed. I am sure Levy and the Board were sitting there being like 'you know what will really rile Sporting, let's leak fake interest in Fresnada to *checks notes* Todofichajes.'

Key movement is expected on porro we need to decide today which way we go to secure him. Talks have been stressed to the length of what needs to be done.

A bit confusing, I think everyone knows what it’s going to take to get him.
Very sceptical on getting this over the line now.

I wonder if there's any outside finance options we can explore on this. I don't think we've ever done this before but i've seen other clubs use outside finance to spread deals when they have to be paid in one bulk sum. It's probably less than ideal as it will come with some interest payments on it, but could be preferable to paying all in one go.

To be clear this isn't a question to WLB, just a general question to the forum based on the ITK above.
