So pleased for Skipp. I'm glad that he is getting the opportuntiy to express himsef. I think I remember saying that while he's an excellent DM he is reallly good going forward as he is a good passer, forward thinking and decent ball carrier. He can be very cavalier. I know a lot couldn't envisage it, and were criticising his early involvement for being neat and tidy as he played his way safely into the side but I am really happy he is getting to show this side to his game. It would be nice to see him get goals but I don't anticpate him really picking up many. He will be able to create more chances as he has done this season.

Definitely very versatile. I don't kow why people criticise his passing. He passing forward a lot even in DM and with a lot of zip and will invariably make the right decision when he has options. Always surprised me when people doubted him, but I guess that's how ti goes when you're new and not your confident self yet. You don't want to make a mistake early on so you play safe, this was always going to come out eventually, as it's what he showed in the academy for so long

Skipp, oh Skipp
You send blood to my tip
I dream of you with a whip
This is no blip

Skipp, oh Skipp
You make me drip
When I see your lip
I quickly grip

Skipp, oh Skipp

For a player like Skipp goals are the icing on the cake. It's not his primary function in the team so I'm not bothered at all, just happy to watch him developing into a really really good all round CM

At some point he will drill one into top bins from the edge of the area, and my god that will be a special moment!

Antonio Conte has good news - Cristian Romero, Heung-Min Son and new arrivals Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski are all available for our FA Cup fourth round tie against Brighton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday (8pm).
Cristian is back after missing almost three months and 14 matches in all competitions with a serious hamstring injury sustained on international duty for Argentina against Brazil on 16 November. Sonny has missed our last four matches going back to 9 January with a muscular problem.
Rodrigo arrived at Hotspur Way on Thursday after signing from Juventus, having scored his first goal for Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier against Venezuela on Tuesday evening. Dejan signed on loan from Juve on Monday. All four are in the squad against Brighton.

Speaking to us ahead of training on Friday, Antonio said: “For sure, Cristian could be a new signing for us! With me, he’s only played two games. It’s important to have a player with his potential available now. We’ve seen the improvement in Sanchez, Davies, Tanganga, it was good, and now to have Cristian available is good news, and like a new player for me.
“Sonny is okay, and now we have three games in a few days, it will be very important to give him the right minutes to play, but Sonny is another player that, you know very well, is very important for us. He can move the balance during a game. I’m very happy to have him available again.”
Antonio went on to report that Japhet Tanganga (knee) and Oliver Skipp (groin) would miss out. “Only these two players are unavailable, the rest are available,” he added.
Asked about Bentancur and Kulusevski's availability in his press conference, Antonio replied: “The two players are fit and, for this reason, tomorrow, they are available, for sure. To start the game, I think is not right, because they need to work with the team for a period. These two players can help us a lot.”

Groin injuries usually aren't that serious but they can randomly reappear, at least that's what some medical expert said when Lebron James had issues with it . Ndombele had some issues with it too.

Yeah not usually a long term thing. Sure he was training earlier in week. Hopefully just a niggle.
