Really think we should be considering playing more with a 3-5-2 / 3-6-1 (or variants thereof), I love Trippier and Rose as wing-backs. I think we really have the players to suit this and can only really think of one game when we played 3 at the back and lost last season (Chelsea in the cup).
My opinion is that Trippier's vision and delivery are on another planet from anything Walker has ever came near as a footballer and can more than make up for their physical differences. Give me footballers over athletes any day (and Trippier is far from slow and isn't shy of a tackle), yes Walker's lightning, but for me he switches off a lot defensively and his positional deficiencies and often masked by his pace. A bit of Forrest Gump about Kyle IMO.
I'd say Trippier could be one of our more underrated players, with Walker being one of our more overrated (NOT saying he's not a good player by any means) and would say if he's wanting out, then to cash in on him.
Alongside Trippier's potential to improve (as most players seem to do under Poch), there are plenty of good fullbacks out there and Walker-Peters looks really promising too.
