I think of we had beaten United and it was only 6 points I'd fancy it more. Liverpool fixtures are fairly kind now to end of the season too, but when Europe starts back up and if they get a few more knocks I'd fancy us to get close to them.

Yea to think they have to lose 3 and us to win 3 to be ahead is a bit of a reach when there only loss was a lot min OG with 2 men sent off. But this talk is for another thread

I guess that explains this. We've gone this long without him already, certainly wouldn't want to risk anything in bringing him back but I'm sure he'll only be included when deemed all good to go anyway.

Pretty sure the scousers will be saying they've got a much harder second half of the season than anyone else (bearing in mind everybody has to play everybody else).

They probably have considering they are the only team left in all 4 competitions.

I think we're pretty tactical with our social media at this point. Bentancur was almost entirely absent when injured and then showed up in the matchday squad. Maybe Maddison has been back in training for a while and is ready to play.

Started full training at the end of last week according to an article in The Athletic.

Dare we dream that, if not on Friday then versus Brentford, we might only be two players short of our strongest XI?

Positive noises about Solomon and Lo Celso being close to a return also. We might even have a bench! A bench with names I recognise on it and the appropriate number of goalkeepers!!!
