Been included in our squad for premier League, not too surprising given he didn't get the move he was after in the summer. Good lad to have around the place but shame for him his spurs career is ending like this

There really is nothing in this.

Vicario is the starter, Forster is the back-up. But, Hugo is on the books. Given that, it makes sense to register him in case of an emergency.

I don't think it's anything more than that. And, I still think he leaves in January.
Oh so you're just forgetting Brooklyn Lyons Forster ARE YOU!?

Why ? Is he any good at coaching and should we sack the existing coach ?
It's just a standard stock line, wheeled out by fans with no actual thought of what that entails. Fact is very few top players make top coaches, because it's a completely different skill set that's required for coaching.

Won’t stop people making this into something that it isn’t though.

fine, wait until we're battering some rando club and bring him on in the 90th so that his last game for us isn't that dreadful newcastle outing

Let's face it he is only staying because he is getting 100k a week, nobody was prepared to go anywhere near that figure. Even if you offer him 30k a week on a 3 year contract it does even compare. I don't think he or Dier will get anywhere near the matchday squad unless there is a real emergency.
Postecoglu has drawn the line, there's no going back.

On the one hand yes, on the other hand it is proper weird that our club captain of 8 years is hanging around the training ground while not being an active player at the club.

It's a bit like a CEO of 8 years leaves his position but gets to keep his keycard and is walking around the office not actually contributing to any actual work.

Sounds like normal CEO behaviour to me.
