Hmmm, happy to let him go on a free but if it's Inter in the conversation, I'd be tempted to squeeze those fuckers for a few quid. 🤣
Yeah fuck them. Bet we could get £5m or so from them, particularly if he'll be their main replacement for Onana this season.

We either get 5m for him which will all go to lloris or we terminate contract

No way we get 5m and don't pay him off last year

Wait, what?

He's still got a year left so we're more than capable of just selling him.
Why would we pay him off?

I wouldn't be against letting him go for free, as a thank you for your service but not to someone like Inter.

Can you explain your working on this because I haven't got a clue how you've come to the conclusion you have?

Indeed, we might be open to letting Hugo go on a mutual free to remove wages, but if a club with money has come in for him and they've been pissy with us previously, then sod it, they can cough up a few million.

"Because he might say I didn't hand in a request so pay me off. I doubt lloris would but think he can."

Going from Onana to Lloris is a big drop off in possession.

I think people are misunderstanding this post.

Do you mean the difference in a transfer where a player hands in a transfer request (and possibly loses out of some club payments like bonuses as a result), as opposed to a transfer where a player hasn't handed in a request (and so upon transfer the selling club may still need to pay him any contractual bonuses due?)

I think people are getting confused that you are saying we also need to pay his contract up even if we sell him.

Bingo my arse! 🤣
Getting a loyalty bonus for not handing in a request is nothing like paying off his contract or giving him the 5m we may get for him.

There's no way you can play off what you said as that, you cheeky monkey. 😁

Lol.

So i guess we need to reevaluate the transfers of every player who was sold without a transfer request...did we pay harry winks 5mil for selling him to leicester..maybe even the whole 10 mil!
