You do know there’s been actual ITK from Dragon1 on Bale. Albeit Trix has been VERY clear as to his information on the Bale situation. You’re not obligated to come into the thread, let alone read it or comment further, just because you don’t like the conversation. ?

Fair enough. I'd actually missed it. My bad ?

All ITK need a huge dollop of salt.
There is ITK on both sides...The reality is there are only 3 sets of people in the world who need to agree or disagree on this .
Bale and his family, THFC and RM. Indications are on spectrum of likelihood. At one end Bale is staying at Madrid,Not playing BUT picking up 60M. Madrid keep Bale and lose 60M.
That is a near certainty at the moment. It is the Status Quo. However neither party are honestly happy with that for obvious reasons, it is not ideal, despite all the posturing from both sides.
Then there is a pool of about 4-6 clubs in the world left, where he could go or in indeed want to go if the money was right. THFC are probably in the top 2 or 3 of those, not just because of size but also because of other factors, history Mourinho etc. and that out of the other clubs most that can afford him are already pretty well stocked in that position, for example Barca PSG and ManC/U
I do not believe any club will take him without RM wage subsidy, so that would have to be a given.
Now the really interesting will RM take a 40m hit. on Bales Wages? U see i thinkif JM wants him, Levy will offer him the same Package as Kane which is i believe 200k a week with the ability to earn an extra 100k depending on performance bonuses and that is/was HK salary.
If Bale gets that, ie10m more than he is on, over 2 years then he will be here telling the world we were his boyhood club...BTW i also think that our front 3 would be terrifying when on form....
The only time we will really know is when the window closes.

It is widely reported, and a quick google search will confirm this, that Gareth Bale earns approx £350K/per week (net), or £600K/week before taxes. Real Madrid´s outlay is in other words £31.2 million. Per year.

I don´t know how taxes work in the UK when you´re on that kind of money, but for Gareth Bale to pocket the same amount of money (the net £350k/w) an English club would probably have to pay the something in the same area as RM does now (£600k/w = £31.2M/y).

A quick google search will give you a click bait figure. If you actually look into the figures, he is on around £350k per week after tax (£18mil per year), with endorsements/sponsorship deals on top adding an additional £10mil a year with the likes of Adidas, EA Sports, Lucozade, BT Sport, Nissan Motor, Konami and Foot Locker etc

How is this possibly different? :)

Sorry, I misread your post. However my point stands, that Bales package would be no different to the numbers we paid and going to be paying Ndombele, so if we wanted to finance a deal over 3 years or so, a deal for Bale would be achievable. However, we won’t, so it’s not going to happen.

But why is Bale in this situation at all? Has it just escelated and become a vicious circle, or is this first and foremost Bale and his lack of attitude and spirit which cause this "problematic situation" for him in Madrid? Because if he has lost his hunger for the game and the right and neccessary spirit, and he actually would prefere to sit on the bench and focus on golf, I hope we stay away.

Because Real Madrid signed a contract with him and then their manager got the 'ump and won't play him so Real Madrid want to go back on his contract and sell him. He won't go along with it and lose money effectively giving it to Real Madrid.
I still don't know why the club pulled out of the deal to sell him to the Chinese club last year other that just to piss him off, it didn't make sense to me.

Wasn’t it because the president changed his mind and couldn’t accept him leaving on a free.

Only Jackie Moon in some old American Basketball league. Financed it with the royalties his mum made on some old Motown song.

Speaking of Messiah, who will be the first in here to convince themselves we can sign Messi? I would nominate Coys200 but don’t think he’s allowed in here.
