Does that include Poch?
Bloody right it does.
Does that include Poch?
It's just because the weird little haters haven't had any reason to @ Lamela lately. They've found one incident in a game in which Lamela was the only one who semi showed up.
Sad, predictable and embarrassingly transparent of their agenda.
"He seems to be following Eriksen's "defending is beneath me" approach to football" - if anybody thinks that of Lamela seriously, that's insanity.
You cannot deny thecomplete lack ofeffort he put intostopping the cross for Brighton’s first. He just stands in front of the guy. It was pathetic. That’s something we’ve seen repeatedly from Eriksen.trying to bring us back into the game through his dynamism and industry, despite his error in allowing the cross for their first goal
I think the main problem is we didn't have Sissoko or Winks dragging us forward from midfield.
Give it a restDidn’t do much to stop the cross for the second goal either. But hey, he runs about a bit so that’s good.
Yeah a player putting in a lot of effort is useless because he failed to block a cross.Didn’t do much to stop the cross for the second goal either. But hey, he runs about a bit so that’s good.
We didn’t lose the Brighton game because of Lamela. The guy wears the shirt with pride, always puts a shift in and doesn’t hide away even if he’s having an off game. He’s the complete opposite to players like EriksenDidn’t do much to stop the cross for the second goal either. But hey, he runs about a bit so that’s good.

Two crosses, two goals, no attempt at a block from Lamela. Is it too much to ask that he at least tries to block the cross? Isn’t that his job?
Okay, after putting myself through the pain of watching both of those goals again, all I can conclude is what a dishonest person you are being (well, either that or you simply dislike Lamela too much, to the point that your judgement is being clouded a bit).
- For the first goal, Lamela definitely makes an effort to stop the cross, but unfortunately he goes with the feint and is left in a position in which he stops being an obstacle for Brighton's player, who is now clear to make a cross.
- For the second goal, he's chasing Brighton's player at speed and between him and NDombele (or Sissoko) they are leaving him with little room to make a play. Unfortunately, Brighton's player was still able to pull out a decent cross out of such a tight position.
Maybe Lamela could have done a better work at attempting to prevent those crosses but, to claim he didn't made an effort to block them is a disgusting and obvious lie.

Is this the Eriksen who for a long time was top of the league for distance ran per game for us?
Maybe he could have done better? Maybe? Those crosses were basic. It’s not like either resulted from blinding pace or an amazing step over that bamboozled the defender. Just two run of the mill crosses with no block.
It's what you do with the running that matters.
So Eriksen wins again since in both their times at the club he has far more assists and goals?

Exactly, especially when it’s half heartedly tracking back the player you could have stopped in their own half had you actually tried a tackle! It's what you do with the running that matters.
