What a debut…if he maintains that will be some player. Was got out a couple of times but his pace got him back, reminded me of walker a bit.

Reminded me of Roberto Carlos a bit.

I watched him a few times at Udinese and thought he looked a strong defender, got forward and supported the attack smartly and most of all looked very comfortable and confident on the ball.
I saw all that again today.

The difference between Sessegnon and Udogie couldn’t be more stark. With Udogie you just feel he has an arrogance or supreme confidence about him whereas with Sessegnon he just doesnt seem to back his ability whatsoever.

I’ve been so, so vocal on my criticism of Paratici over the last year or so and whilst I stick by a lot of what I said, I have to give him praise for picking up Udogie and Sarr. They’re both unbelievably talented.

Danger of overhyping but they just have everything a future world-class player needs: technique, intelligence, composure. I see both of them as being part of a really special side.

I was worried he'd be more of a LWB than a LB, but the kid looks great. There's always a question over whether youngsters are ready physically too, but he's a feckin unit. Super fast and strong.

You can understand why we didn't just cut him adrift straight away when the allegations came out and why we took a reputational hit by toughing it out during the hearings. Having a DOF like Paratici with a manager like Ange allows us to move closer to that Brighton model.
Really makes me excited to see Veliz and Phillips now seeing how Udogie has performed. It takes patience but it can be very fruitful

I think we’d be foolish not to consider it. He’s made some great transfer moves for us.

I think Paratici has some strengths that are beneficial to the Club.

I might be being harsh - but jury is still out on Kulu for me. Had a real hot spell early on- but that level needs to be seen more regularly to be deemed a success.
