If it were to happen It wouldn’t be a hard change to the tactic, it would be more of a fluid one with one of the FB’s instead of inverting into CM would stay back with the LCB sitting a little wider. This essentially makes it a 3 at the back in possession but it reverts to a 4 when out of it.

Just think we are bad at keeping injuries from media. Other clubs tend to not give away injuries which obviously must be more beneficial

If Porro is out, we will have Emerson and Davies in the FB positions. Ange will have to be pragmatic, as neither are great at the ‘inverted’ role. No point in trying to circle that square. Play to their strengths. Both can be excellent defenders. We will automatically be better at defending set pieces.

hoping for a swift recovery for Udogie. Should be back for start of preseason.

Difficult one to theorise due to the existence of both the Australian Little Penguin and also the Australian Sea lion.

But if I had to choose I’d go with the Penguin, as they can be found in the wild near Ange’s hometown of Melbourne.

Yep that could happen which is just a 3 at the back when building up possession but he won’t actually change to an out and out 3 at the back like Conte had is what I’m saying.

Hope Davies plays LB not Emerson.

Personally I don’t mind full backs playing on the opposite sides. Think it opens up more up options. Not a fan of Davies receiving the ball standing assessing his options then passing backwards because the ball inside isn’t on as he hasn’t got a right foot. Might help with defending Saka too with him coming in on his stronger foot.
