I want to mention in actual Italian forums he isnt widely hated (paratici btw really is) but is seen as a disappointment, particularly considering the hype when the signed him. English forums are essentially all a bunch of people with very little understanding of football. It's no different than getting your hot takes of Twitter, I wouldn't pay it much attention.

His transfer dealings so far here would explain why. Still a lot to prove!

I think his dealing make a lot of sense. No issue with any transfers. The issue is that they are all built with the future in mind, not now. Like, their all young players who are more with 3-4 years down the line over now.

In Juventus the criticism was less about the quality of the signings, he's always been known to be able to spot a player, but rather the wages and fees spent on players. His habit of picking up players on free transfers who weren't really good enough annoyed people too.

The thing about paratici is when his role was simply a talent spotter rather than the main man his work was vital in revitalising the side and creating a side that would constantly win titles, but when he was handed financial control that's where the criticism lies. A tendency to overpay etc.

But he's also an easy target. Juve are suffering and they have looming court cases, blaming the guy whose left, rather than say, agnelli, who is essentially Juventus and has, essentially, a birth right to the club.

Chiesa suspected ACL tear. This one is probably dead now (if it was ever alive in the first place…)

Juve might not be willing to sell him now, Maybe now we will be more inclined to move for the Belgian lad

Yeah it’s confirmed he is out for the season. Juventus already struggling in attack so aren’t going to be keen to sell off another one you would think.

They may actually be more desperate to sell now if they’re short of funds to buy someone else.

We were wanting a loan deal for him or McKennie and they wanted to sell. Think the chance now of getting a loan is out of the question.

We're seemingly not ready to spend 20mil on Traore so I don't get the sense we have 40mil to splash on Kulusevski.
I tend to agree. But, hey, it's transfer news that isn't bashing one of Levy, Lewis, ENIC, Paratici, Conte or whomever else people are moaning about. We'll see.
