We’ve always known Rose was a prick, but he was OUR prick. Now he’s not our prick, so he’s a prick.

I hear what you're saying, he's given his all on the pitch and deserves respect and admiration for that, but at the same time his repeatedly slagging off the club in the press is arguably crossing the line of what is acceptable. Especially the Google interview, which was outright disrespectful of his teammates and seemed to contribute to the beginnings of a negative atmosphere around the club. Not to mention very likely being the source of an anti-Jose article at a time when the club needs to be pulling together.

He deserves our respect for what he's done on the pitch but off the pitch is a completely different story and I can understand the frustration toward him.

Im a little late but I do think Toby said it last week maybe that player should move on if he is not happy in an interview in response to disharmony in the camp regarding training methods

13 Years a Spur. Used to be at ten years, a testimonial was granted. This lad has given 3/4 of his pro playing career to our club.
Regardless of how it ended this last 18 months, Danny Rose deserves the utmost respect for his service.

Upto a point, however with his interviews it is fact that he is not loyal to the club and his own gain is more important. This dilutes down the goodwill built up!

Newcastle got Bentaleb as well lol - turning into our old boys club!

Presumably Rose being on loan will be prevented against playing against us...

Will be interesting to see if he picks up again now as his head was gone for us, but has his legs gone also?

Steve Bruce just said on Sky, that one of Rose's reasons for going to Newcastle was that the chippys are better up there :)

Steve Bruce also said they bid a club record for a midfielder. Andros Townsend?

Out on loan Rose can't play against us no.

Newcastle boss Steve Bruce has been doing his stuff in front of the media.

As expected transfers dominated the agenda: "We had a bid accepted for a player which would have been a record transfer eight days ago. But unfortunately the player wanted to stay where he was. We were active but unfortunately it didn't happen.

On signing Danny Rose on loan:

"Delighted to get him. He is a top player the kid, arguably as a good a left-back as there is in England. The big thing about moving up north suited him which makes a rare change.

"He's a northern lad so little things like that are an advantage to him. I reminded him of the crowd against Oxford and he know he is walking into a big club with a huge fan base.

"It's a straight loan to be fair. He's here until the summer but if he does well, and we have the possibility to do it, we'll look at that further."

Then he throws the club under a bus giving random interviews to The Sun.

He’s also raving about the chips in the North. Apparently the one he had on his shoulder in the South wasn’t up to scratch.
