Just shouting the word excuses doesn't help though does it, if you think it's an excuse then argue it and prove why it's not a worthwhile reason.
Why? Someone else will just come in with more excuses, it's never ending.

Instead of offering up this shower of shite interview, perhaps he could go back to putting a decent shift in for the team he is going to 'run' the remainder of his 18 month contract down on.

Why is this worth pointing out?

Because it adds to the validity that he and Poch's relationship is good and that he's still also liked by the players and a welcome member of the group to be involved with organising that

Apologies I thought you was referring to posters and not Rose

Don't know why he is getting so much stick, all he's doing is speaking up for the players who are sneakily doing the same thing, Eriksen and Toby have let their contracts run down and sneakily went about it, Rose is telling everyone his intentions now, at least the club are aware about it and plan life without him.

The interview he did with the Sun was the same, I heard loads of players felt the same way about not being paid properly and not strengthening the team properly so it doesn't surprise me he is popular in the dressing room.

Over to Daniel and crew to fix it.

Yeah, he is the fall guy, no wonder he's popular. There is always one bellend that will do that talking that you can hide behind when the shit finally hits the fan.

Daniel and co created this mess and have let it linger. Players fucked off with the manager, players fucked off with the ownership, manager likely also fucked off with the ownership. Its a toxic atmosphere that no one person can really fix. Only thing that could possibly lead to more positive results is a new manager. No repairing the players relationship with a club that doesnt want to pay to keep them happy and doesnt want to pay to refresh the squad.

But but but.... he was at Watford on deadline... and he’d have gone and Pochettino would be one trouble maker fewer had it not been for Scrooge mcLevy pricing him out of the move.

Maybe, just maybe, fellow Scers, it is possible that short of murder, there is no fail safe way to get a player out of the club if in fact he has no intention of leaving... ?

The club should try and convince him to join Leeds in January, he will back at the club where he started, and getting his wish being up north.

Might as well get used to players running down their contracts, it's the new cool thing in football world. If we ever start buying players in every transfer window (or at least one of summer/winter) again we might even use it to our advantage from time to time.

The better question is why is Scrooge mcLevy wanting a player out who Poch supposedly wanted to keep

Danny Rose is no disruptive influence in the changing room etc. He is highly loved and liked by the players. He always tells it as it is. Wasn’t Poch who wanted him gone! Neither was it the players!
I think there are a lot of higher execs who may have had an issue with Danny. Poch has backed him all the way, but Danny has spoken about a few parties causing upsets when he was injured which did not help with his depression.

I would imagine Rose is a real pain in the arse to deal with. His form over the last 18 months has not been near what it was, yet he is still in the England squad.
When he does play he gives everything . Loan to Leeds in jan would be ideal.

Toby never, we have known for nearly 2 years now that the original contract offered wasn't going to be signed after originally agreeing to it. what we don't know is if a club has ever put in a bid for Toby that has met the clubs valuation and Toby just decided it wasn't for him so will just let it run out.

with Eriksen his performances the back end of last season didn't help put himself in the window. I would say at a guess he knew he wanted a new challenge the season before and had he done so when the club his agent said tried in 2018, then Levy might have accepted knowing he would have been heading out on a free (unless it was after our window closed).

Why would we offer him a new contract? He'll be 31/32 when his deal expires, his form is already declining and I'm sure the interview he did before about having to Google players etc still annoys most of the Club, save that shit for your book when you retire.

Levy is absolutely the one trying to do the right thing for the Club to try and get a few quid for him whilst he's still worth something. He notices his decline and that he's not our future whilst the widely considered stubborn Poch continues to persist and pick him whilst it's obvious to everyone else he's not good enough at the moment.

Worth pointing out that the press reported that Rose was one of those that organised the dinner for Poch a couple of weeks ago. Before the Liv game.

Protecting each other while the shit show continues. Bet neither of them will be around to bring us back up from the Championship though.

I doubt Levy would try and sell him without talking to Poch and I doubt Poch will treat him any differently while he's needed in the squad, but that doesn't mean that he thinks that Rose is still the right person for the position.

This is key. Poch always needs to account for the fact the player might not leave the club and therefore needs to intergrate rose back into the fold. It's a bit of good cop bad cop from Poch and Levy. It's the best way to deal with the situation tbf.
