We’re building a very serious team and probably halfway there. Lloris Perisic Romero Son Kane Kulusevski all top draw. Dier Davies Hojbjerg Bentancur good players but probably below those other 6. Exciting times.

Bentancur is in the top draw bracket as well.

We all know this already I'm sure, but just watching again and bloody hell, his anticipation is something else.

A ball goes flying from 50/50 or bounces off a bunch players heads, and he knows miles before anyone where it's going to land and he's there in a flash. You can't teach that. Absolute, full bloodied commitment every time he goes in.

Definitely my favourite player atm.

Only seen a bit of the game, the tackle on Kent in the first half was class. Kent running at speed then doing stepovers as Cuti remains like the fucking F O N Z at the back, watches the ball and eases Kent out the way. Brilliant, makes defending look easy

Always felt watching Hoddle was like watching an artist. Romero is no different. There’s no telling how high up the list of all time greats this guy could end up.

Romero has this lovely knack of gettting to the ball ahead of or alongside his opponent who inexplicably ends up on the floor in a heap.
He can play a sweet pass as well.

Hats off to Paratici for getting Romero for us. Absolutely brilliant bit of business. Add in Bentancur, Kulusevski, Bissouma, Perisic, Richarlison and Lenglet who are all quality, and not forgetting Spence and our much needed HG back up keeper. He's done an absolutely cracking job so far.
