I am so excited by this signing. He just looks like a true defender who will give us more solidity overall and make others around him look better. I’m also curious to see how he looks in Nuno’s setup as Atalanta really elect to play the ball on the ground more. His passing looks good but it’s hard to know if he’s a guy who can ping it, etc. Losing Toby’s ability to do that I think can’t be understated, it’s really offered a lot of chance creation and generally pressure release opportunities.
