He's an OK player.

Not great, not bad, not coveted by any of the teams we are supposed to be competing with and of course, he's cheap.

He is in essence the archetypal ENIC player.

Wouldn't surprised me if he is still here 3 years after his best days are behind him.
We've had some incredible players during ENIC's tenure, and most of them (the good ones) have been relatively cheap. I'd even argue that ENIC's downfall is largely due to moving away from this strategy and instead 'acting like a big club'.

I can’t get my head around the decision-making of so many of our players.

On what planet was a touch (prior to City’s fourth) the best option? He has to know Mahrez is next to him, so to attempt to control the ball is ridiculous.

This one actually reminds me of ENICs early years. Stephane Dalmat and players like that.

He isn't a bad player by any means but just not really suited to PL and not what we needed.
