Him and Lo Celso can practice their spanglish in the welfare officePromising signs of improvement, but if that money is available for a striker, I'd still (personally) rather we used it to try and lure Danny Ings.

I think he’s pretty poor and we can do much better, but he does serve a purpose. .
Like ?
I don't think he is a worldie by any means but he's done OK and better than some of the other over priced players we have tried
He also now has a year's prem experience.
It's OK saying kicit reallyhardinhio is better but so many come to the prem and fail its not just a case of he scores more in the ezebackistan league therefore he is better.
Southampton striker Danny Ings, 28, could be a target for Manchester City as as a potential successor to Sergio Aguero. (Sky Sports)Danny Ings? Let’s be honest, he’s scored a few tap ins against FC Milkman and Marine. He’s delivered a few nice assists but otherwise his hold up play and passing has been below average too. Maybe I’m just spoilt watching Kane every week.
Can tell you right now Ivan Toney would be a far better signing than vini and you could get him for 25/30 mill!I like him. I think having Kane has almost spoiled us a bit when it comes to strikers. So when someone is just good like Vinny they look worse than they are by comparison because we have the guy who’s the best on the planet in his position as our first choice. He’s scored goals in the limited minutes he’s got, works his nuts off, doesn’t kick up a fuss and has a big heart. He’s not worth the £38mil but if we can renegotiate that fee or take him on a second years loan I think we definitely should.
If Brentford don’t go up I’m sure there’ll be Prem clubs having a look at him. Just think Vinny has done basically everything asked of him. Scored when he’s played, worked hard, shown a good attitude. This second choice striker spot has been such a hard spot for us to fill and I think he’s made the best fist of it of anyone so far. If we can reduce the fee keep a hold of him. We know what he’s about and we know he can do the job.Can tell you right now Ivan Toney would be a far better signing than vini and you could get him for 25/30 mill!
It’s about signing someone who doesn’t just have to be the second choice striker though! You can’t tell me there isn’t people out there who could come in and really have an affect in the team in the premier league on a more consistent basis ? I mean could that be vinny? Maybe it could , I just don’t think his all round game is great it’s abit average tbf and feel we can do better! I expect more in the prem tbh even coming off the bench this season it just hasn’t happened vinny should have been a lot more affective and it’s maybe down to Jose not using him enough or down to quality ? Either way if we can get someone with more quality who can do more for us league wise and at a cheaper price then we have to do it. If not we have to reduce the fee not a chance are we paying 38 mill! Dybala is going for 50/55 mill this season if you get champions league you pay the extra for him, that’s just an example ! Ivan Toney and Dybala two different scales on two different scenarios btw lolIf Brentford don’t go up I’m sure there’ll be Prem clubs having a look at him. CV's Brazilian, so wouldn't he speak Portuguese, or Portuglish at any rate?Him and Lo Celso can practice their spanglish in the welfare office
Isak at 56m doubtfulor go for a young striker... someone like Isak at Real Sociedad or Alkmaar’s Boadu.

I wonder if the fact we may be clearing out some of the ‘bad eggs’ a couple of which are English and homegrown, means that a move for Ings would be more likely, if only to fulfil the homegrown quota?
Can't see ings wanting to play second fiddle when he can be a number one at a lot of clubs.
intriguing player. Unspectacular today but he absorbs some of the punishment usually focused on Kane. That said, Im. not a fan of the 4-4-2.
There isn't top6 club where he would be 1st optionCan't see ings wanting to play second fiddle when he can be a number one at a lot of clubs.
