Imagine going to Anfield with Kane Son and Lucas/Bergwijn as our front three and them struggling to get at Liverpool's defence.

Throw on Bale, someone who has tormented them in the past and can pop up with a special moment at any time.

Throw on Vinicus and tell him to get at VVD so that Kane is freed up more.

The options we are now going to have in order to change a game are going to be so critical. And defences are not going to rest for one moment.

The last couple of years, some teams have managed to stop us getting the ball into certain areas and limit Kane's influence with no options from the bench.

Now, everything changes.
Exactly this. Options.

One of them that asked "have we not learned our lesson with Janssen" early on had the temerity to issue an impassioned cry to support him no matter what this season yesterday. The fickleness on this board is quite amazing, really.
You wanna try TFC... I got told to ‘delete myself’ cos I passed on info. Made me chuckle - only way I could respond tbh

Here we gold, Enjoy your weekend lads, stop refreshing your twitter

football.london understands that he will undergo his medical at Hotspur Way on Friday but his move will likely not be fully completed until Monday.

The Brazilian still needs to secure his work permit, which is expected to be granted with his application helped by him playing in the Champions League last season, and that process could spill into Monday, with the non-working weekend getting in the way.

Great write up

Could it swing around to Italy? No idea on European flight paths

From uk it would go over Belgium after clicking on a few plains heading to italy and finding on going from London.

And as others have said, on the same flight path as others to Barcelona.

Got this series of messages from my mate who is Portuguese and therefore watches a lot of their domestic football.

He is a good striker. Probably their best but I think they are not exploring his true potential. He did a good series of matches last year but after the lockdown his form was poor. But it always depends on the price to pay. This year's transfers from Portugal to Premier League were largely over rated.

And Mendes is his agent...

Oh I see now it is a loan

I think he is a decent substitute for Kane

I am moderately happy with him moving ?

He's a Porto fan btw, which makes that last comment make more sense!

Really happy with this. Great price and lots of potential there.

And even if he is a bit of a flop there's no way he can possibly be worse than Soldado, Janssen or Llorente and we can always just send him back after. Plus he's an actual living breathing no.9 which is more than we had last year.

Well, unless it changes course, it's going to Barcelona

It's just away to pick up Puig from Barca. Then it can swing past and pick up all the trophies we are gonna win this year...

I'm gonna have a word with DL, and see if on deadline day we can't just fly the jet around in circles over mainland Europe.

Just for fun.
