All the “decent” British sources are jumping on this.

Just waiting on the Italian tap in merchant to tweet now.

Like the sound of a loan. I think last season was his only high scoring season playing in a higher tier. Get him in on loan and see if he can cut it/ take a good look before deciding to commit to buying him

According to wikipedia (i know, not the most reliable source), that could be because he wasn't always a striker. He started his career as a central defender, then moved into midfield and then became a striker.

The fact he is 25, 6ft3in, strong, fast and mobile, can play out wide and up front, good in the air and with his feet, make him an ideal player for Jose. He would suit the premier league and still has time to improve.

I had previously said Milik would be the best choice, but after thinking about our squad, how Mourinho's like to play and to offer us something different, I have changed my mind. I think Vinicius is the best option, particularly if it's a loan and we can free up finances for Skriniar.

Thats about the eighth player linked with us someone has done that with. Some dickhead obviously thinks they're funny. Utter prick whoever it is.

It’s cringey shite worthy of the most brain dead Rawk users.

Mendes is key here. His players go where he says, not where the selling club wants. Look at what he’s done for Wolves.
The story is picking up serious momentum now, which can only be a hold thing. Sooner the better, so all attention can be on Skriniar and then balancing the outgoings.
The fact Vinicius is a loan intially means any cash can be allocated to Skriniar. Now if he’s an initial loan too, then that suddenly opens up even more options for our outgoings, we can loan with option/obligation also, no need to narrow down to cash deals only.
Off the top of my head, I count 20 non HG players if you include Davies as he is in Europe. That means we need to shift 3.....

Not quite, he was scoring at an equally impressive rate in 18/19 for Rio Ave but that loan was cut short so he could be sent to Monaco for the second half of the season where he didn’t get a chance in Thierry Henry’s circus.
