I appreciate ITK posting but we have been here before with Levy but yet he still has his supporters fooled.
Please post the evidence of the failures of D.Levy. I don't mean tweets or 3rd/4th hand posts on forums, i want direct quotes, video of negotiations, emails with D. Levy directing the outcome of a failed deal. Just interested if you have EVER had any real evidence of this.

Secondly, I would like the contrary evidence of D.Levy not being responsible for successful incoming transfers such as the procurement of Lo Celso (largely regarded as the better alternative to Fernandes on this site), Ndombele (seen by many on here as the far superior signing to Partey), Jan, Toby, Eriksen et. al. All of which did come to the club and were deemed to be what the club needed, some of which being very expensive signings. By nature of the argument that Levy ruins every deal i would like an explanation as to how we have spent over £400m in 4 years? Are these all deals that got past him in the night?

I tell you where this club was before Levy. In a decrepit (although nostalgic) stadium, languishing in mid table, with at best 2 decent players in the team at any one time, constantly fighting financial insolvency, light-years behind arsenal let alone the top 6, basically West Ham. Oh and Levy was still paying for his Spurs season ticket at that time. I get being frustrated that we cannot do the Football Manager transfer deals that many on here want but the sheer ignorance to what Tottenham could be if we hadn't had ENIC running things for the past 20 years is mind-boggling - it shows the short-sighted nature of football fans. People should be eternally grateful that ENIC and Levy have built our club to this position of sustainability and resilience with some of the greatest facilities in world football for us fans to enjoy for the next 50 years while clubs that were equal size if not a lot bigger such as Villa and Everton have seen their clubs fall further and further behind (yes i appreciate Villa are having a renaissance at the moment but lets give that time to see the fruits and go look at the state of Villa Park).

Maybe Levy has me "fooled", or maybe i am more realistic to the fact that without billions of external investment (which could go away as quickly as it arrives), we have a club (ran as a business) that will go on providing football entertainment for my daughter and maybe her kids in the future.

Jesus. Meltdown over an 18yr old after a post from some random tweet picked up by the thirsty Spurs Twitter aggregators.. None of you know who this nicko guy is, much less the provisions of the Blackburn lads buy out and/or contract.

Go outside and touch some grass. FFS this place needs an enema.
I don't give a shit either way and this is the first I've commented on the kid but a few things..

Alan Nixon whilst a Sun journo and someone who I wouldn't rely on for Tottenham news is a known really reliable source for Blackburn and some of the ok the other north west based clubs.

The meltdown as you put it (whilst sounding like you're melting down yourself ironically) is due to the chairman in particular and the club losing all faith with so many. You earn trust and he is out of it so whilst I don't for one second think anyone really is that bothered if this deal goes ahead or not, they are simply on the edge of frustration constantly due to the way this man is running our club and it seems on the flip side there is a group who rush to his defence equally as fast.

Lastly I'm about to take the dog for a walk on grass and then ilater I'll be taking my toddler to the park where lots of said grass is located. My opinion will be equally as shit post grass touching.

Spot on. If the report is true, it is likely Levy's karma after being a di*k in transfer market for so many years

I'll be honest I don't really care and for a deal this size I doubt it's Levy messing around just tired of the same sort of argument where half the fanbase is on edge due to the club being run this way and then the other are like attack dogs ready to defend him.

If we had signed a top class Centre back by now which we should have done a year ago or longer then nobody cares about an 18 year old being signed for the academy.

Can you take the Levy love inn to the relevant thread.

It honestly shocks me how, every single summer, people expect things to be different, until the window eventually closes.
I dislike levy but it has been different so far this window, GK, lw, CAM signed already.

If we don't sign a CB or 2 it will be same old levy but still time. Not gonna lose any sleep over a 18 year old CB hitting a bump in negotiations.

Keep your powder dry incase we start with Dier at CB against Brentford.

Last summer we started off the window well too, then it all deteriorated 🤔

This is the most likely scenario at the min 😭 the longer it drags on 🥱

Venkys and Levy go into a boardroom......

That's it.

That's the joke.

I still think we'll get our man. Levy will have to up the ante just a little.

now we all know what happens
- if the deal goes through by the reported price, he'll end up being zeki fryers 2.0
- if we don't sign him, he'll become the british van dijk in 2 years
If you wonder where Fryers is today I was happy to see him play against my team in the second tier of Swedish football. His team, AFC Eskilstuna, is in the relegation places and have just brought in Nolberto Solano to try and keep them up.

Why football fans are being exposed to THIS LEVEL of detail on a deal now I have no idea - and the problem with that is there’s no context around it.

Absolutely just for the hate-clicks to drive ad revenue, the gutter press know Spurs fans are easy to rile up. What's even worse now is these news aggregators are doing exactly the same thing but with Twitter engagement, they don't even need to write any stories! Plus the more negative stuff they post the more engagement they get, it's a self-perpetuating money spinner.

The talk up here from the Rovers fans is that we triggered his release clause, Venkys are trying null and void the offer as they say his release clause was and is confidential, and they want more money.
