Makes sense to me because we can't send Dane out on loan again and they both need to be getting some playing time, so may as well send Veliz out for 6 months.
With Ally Gold reporting that we've had reassurances on playing time from Sevilla, it can't be a bad thing.

I'd like to have kept him around but if we have both he and Scarlett vying for what few minutes will be available, we risk stunting them both.

Yeah Isaac has looked really good since being promoted from their second team, only 20 as well. I’m not really expecting Veliz to be a starter, more to be getting solid minutes regular off the bench.
