Side note:

This is the current state of Blackpool's pitch.

You prepare all week, set up a team, prepare the tactics.. and then your dumbass defence does that.

Strange that Dawson wasn't sent off. My commentators think either mistaken identity or McAuley said something.

Is that another case of mistaken identity? McAuley walked but it was definitely Dawson who fouled.

My commentators now saying that McAuley did foul him inside the box, but the original foul - the one the play was brought back for - was outside the box and by Dawson. So why does Dawson escape but the foul is there when McAuley is sent off but it's no pen? If you're pulling play back, doesn't anything after that not count?

That really is unnaceptable to be honest. My sunday league pitch was miles better than that. In fact that's not saying much, my local park I'm sure has a better playing surface than that.

In a couple weeks it will be "Alright lads.....we play on the beach this week"

Someone else said it, the pitch is the perfect representation of what is going on at Blackpool both on the pitch and off. The Oystons simply refuse to spend money anymore and the team just isn't being tended to at all...Sad state of affairs.

If the Oyston's had been foreign the national media would've been all over them on a weekly basis. They have copped a lot of criticism but by and large they're allowed to get away with it.

Personally find it really sad that they have been allowed to get away with it.....just think a few seasons ago they were a scrappy little team that hung tough in the PL on a small budget while playing entertaining football only to get relegated on the last day of the season and now.....they are just a blight on the landscape.

The Oystons are really something else......we all may whinge about Levy and Newcastle supporters may whinge about Ashley, Hull supporters whinge about Allam and we all made fun of Vincent Tan but....the Oystons make it so that everyone who isn't a Blackpool supporter can legitimately be thankful of their current owner.
