They currently 14 players on that salary or higher. If they want him back, it’s very possible.
Sure you haven't misread the columns and they are in euros , looks like three above £9 mill and three about equal, also Inter revenue quite a lot below Spurs, not sure they could afford 14 players on that sort of income.

€89k is around £78k. So it’s definitely plausible that Inter could pay him around £90k if they want him.


If the above link is correct, they paid him that previously.

At the time and in theory it seemed like a solid idea. An experienced international, playing well for Inter and who has worked with Conte in that position. Could cover bothe WB and WF if needed. Not overly expensive, could come straight in and Sess could learn from him.

Obviously he hasn't worked out like that, but this isn't a player we're gong to end up stuck with, so it was a gamble worth taking.
Getting a player on loan/free at that age is a very risky move if it is not done at the right circumstances.
